Daughters in Concert
Tuesday was the annual Winter Concert for the daughters' school. Favorite carols: Edelweiss, The Holly & the Ivy, and Sleigh Ride. First came the orchestra, then the bell choir, then the actual choir.

But the days are still just 24 hours long.
What are the criteria you use to pare back ways that you spent time in the past so you are able to allocate some time to new things?

Thanskgiving, day 2
Yesterday, Thanksgiving Day, was spent in Sacramento visiting Nina's dad. He wanted Prime Rib, so we ate a delicious meal at Chops Steakhouse, across the street from the California Capitol building.
We missed eating turkey, however, so today I smoked a turkey and we had our second Thanksgiving dinner in two days.
